Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Aerospace Spray Painter for the 3rd shift in Stow, OH. This on-site, full-time role focuses on spray painting aerospace components using HVLP primers and topcoats to MIL-SPEC standards, followed by curing and inspection.

You will prep and mask parts, mix coatings, operate spray equipment, check finish quality, and maintain equipment. The position offers a steady Sunday-Thursday shift, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM, with competitive hourly pay of $20 to $28.

Qualifications

• Industrial painting experience required.
• Experience painting aerospace components.
• Experience with HVLP primers and topcoats.
• Familiarity with MIL-SPEC coatings.
• Experience with NADCAP processes.
• Coatings preparation and masking experience.
• Surface preparation using abrasives/solvents/brushes.
• Experience with bake/cure ovens.
• Ability to measure coating thickness.
• Experience with respirator and PPE.

Responsibilities

• Prep and mask aircraft parts for coating.
• Mix coatings and set up spray equipment for each job.
• Spray HVLP primers and topcoats meeting specs and film thickness.
• Cure parts after coating.
• Check finished surfaces for quality.
• Keep painting equipment in good working order.
