Job summary

National Aerospace Processing (NAP) is seeking a Paint Process Operator for on-site night shift in Stow, OH. The role involves applying primer and topcoat systems to aircraft parts, following NADCAP requirements, and maintaining precise process controls and logs throughout the paint operation.

Responsibilities include preparing surfaces, masking, operating HVLP spray systems, and inspecting coated parts for quality and compliance with government and company standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years overall production experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work from prints, sketches, specifications, and written/verbal instruction.
• Can match or detect differences among colors, including shades of color and brightness.

Responsibilities

• Follow NADCAP requirements and ensure compliance.
• Prepare and mask parts prior to coating and operate spray systems.
• Set bake/cure oven controls and verify temperatures.
• Inspect surfaces for defects before and after coating.
• Maintain logs and document paint operations and changes as needed.
