Job summary

Primus Aerospace in Maryland is seeking a dependable Painter to join our manufacturing team. You will prepare aerospace components for painting, apply primers and coatings, and ensure workmanship meets strict quality and safety standards in a high paced environment.

This 4th shift runs Friday to Sunday, 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM, with a pay rate of $17.00-$22.00 per hour ($34-$44 with 50% shift differential). We provide PTO, holidays, health benefits, and a 401(k) match as part of a comprehensive

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial, manufacturing, automotive, or aerospace painting preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Detail-oriented with focus on quality workmanship.
• Able to stand and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare parts for painting by cleaning, sanding, masking.
• Apply primers, coatings, and paint finishes per specs.
• Inspect finished parts for coverage and quality.
• Operate spray painting equipment and maintain tools.
• Ensure clean and safe work environment.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and assembly teams to meet deadlines.
