Job summary

Intuitive Machines is seeking a Supply Chain Program Specialist to manage procurement for PPE-related procurements on the SR-1 Freedom Program. You will coordinate with Buyers/SCAs, suppliers, Program Management, and technical teams to ensure orders reflect technical and schedule requirements.

The role demands meticulous schedule management, strong communication, and the ability to translate procurement activity into clear status updates for leadership.

Qualifications

• US citizen and ability to obtain US government security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Program Management, Business, or related field; four additional years of experience may substitute for a degree.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in supply chain management, subcontract administration, program management, or program controls.
• Demonstrated ability to manage detailed schedules across multiple procurements, with milestone tracking and risk identification.
• Experience engaging directly with suppliers to resolve delivery, quality, or performance issues.
• Strong understanding of cost reporting and earned value reporting methods.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the dedicated Supply Chain resource for PPE-related procurements on the SR-1 Freedom Program.
• Partner with Buyers/Subcontract Administrators to ensure technical, schedule, and contractual requirements are incorporated into procurement packages and purchase orders.
• Track and ensure all required orders are executed on schedule.
• Maintain detailed schedule tracking for all assigned procurements and drive mitigation actions.
• Attend supplier status calls and report to Program Management.
• Engage with suppliers to identify and resolve issues affecting order execution, delivery, or performance.
• Maintain supplier relationships and act as a contact between the program and key suppliers.
• Provide detailed tracking of order status, delivery dates, cost performance, and percent-completion reporting.
• Identify and mitigate risks to procurement schedule.
