Job summary

Young & Franklin Tactair, part of the TransDigm Group, seeks a Production Planner/Analyst to own high‑complexity, high‑mix aerospace planning. You will optimize the production schedule, analyze supply chain data, and drive improvements using Lean Six Sigma methods.

Strong SQL, Epicor, and Power BI experience is highly valued. Responsibilities include coordinating with Manufacturing and Sales to meet on‑time delivery targets, developing dashboards, and leading continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Engineering and Management, Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, Logistics, or a related discipline.
• Exceptional skills in developing queries, performing analysis, and converting data into informative insights.
• Experience with production planning using systems such as Epicor, SAP, MAPICS or the equivalent.
• Strong analytic background and proficiency in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Develop production schedule to meet external customer delivery requirements and internal revenue targets.
• Review customer orders, factory capacity and material availability to provide product ship dates for Sales & Marketing.
• Advise management of work in progress status, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure on-time delivery.
• Collaborate with Operations Managers, Machine Shop Manager, Manufacturing Engineers, Shop Floor Leaders, Quality, and Planners to prioritize and expedite parts.
