Job summary

Textron Systems is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to develop and manage production schedules, balancing capacity, material availability, and program delivery commitments. You will communicate status and risks to leadership and IPTs, while coordinating with procurement, production, quality, and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of related experience preferred.
• 1-3 years MRP experience & CPIM certification preferred.
• Self-starter with ability to work in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment.
• Demonstrated ability to plan, organize and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
• Excellent communication, facilitation and networking skills.
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent partnering and team-building skills.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook; PowerPoint, MS Projects, EMatrix, Oracle ERP; PowerBI experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partners with procurement, production manager, quality, engineering, and program management to plan, schedule, and manage development, production, and aftermarket environments.
• Manages execution of planner code, release of internal jobs to factory, release of purchase requisitions, and manages disruptions in the internal factory.
• Advises management on status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems.
• Monitors internal/external supply chain alignment and maintains line of balance and purchase requests.
• Interfaces with internal customers as part of IPT collaboration.
• Develops and executes plans to maximize on-time completion; analyzes supply and demand data to identify critical path constraints.
• Manages manual demand, ECN/ECP changes, and material transfers; handles PO change requests.
