Job summary

RadNet, Inc. in New York is seeking a Production Planning Analyst responsible for developing the production schedule for high-mix aerospace products and driving process improvements.

You will collaborate across operations to meet on-time delivery targets and optimize capacity and inventory using dashboards and analytics. The role requires strong problem-solving, hands-on data extraction with SQL and Epicor data, and a Six Sigma mindset to reduce waste and improve performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Engineering and Management, Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, Logistics, or related discipline.
  • Exceptional skills in developing queries, performing analysis, and converting data into informative insights.
  • Exposure to or experience with production planning using systems such as Epicor, SAP, MAPICS or the equivalent.
  • Strong analytic background and proficiency in Excel.
  • Self-motivated and proactive with strong interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision as an individual contributor and as a member of cross-functional team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop production schedule to meet external customer delivery requirements and internal customer revenue targets.
  • Review customer orders, factory capacity and material availability to provide product ship dates for Sales & Marketing.
  • Advise management of work in progress status, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure product is delivered on time to the customer
  • Collaborate with Operations Managers, Machine Shop Manager, Manufacturing Engineers, Shop Floor Group Leaders, Quality, and Planners to prioritize and expedite parts, and to determine progress and completion dates.
  • Manage the process of expedited orders by facilitating communication between responsible departments.
  • Actively monitor and level workload with capacity constraints at the resource level.
  • Release and track manufacturing jobs to ensure compliance to the daily schedule and identify/escalate issues that prevent its successful execution.
  • Utilize Epicor ERP system to extract and analyze supply chain data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights to drive process improvements.
  • Design and implement supply chain dashboards and KPIs to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Perform statistical analysis to optimize inventory levels
  • Use Lean Six Sigma / continuous improvement methodologies to identify waste and engineer process improvements
  • Leverage AI to automate portions the planning process
  • Experience with PowerBI, PowerQuery, and/or Epicor BAQ is desired
  • Experience with SQL is desired
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

We manufacture, assemble and test valves and actuators for the Aerospace and Power Generation markets. Our 120,000 square foot facility houses R&D, Design Engineering, Assembly & Test, and an 80,000 square foot Machine Shop. Position Summary

Responsible for both production planning activities and process improvement initiatives to optimize the production planning process. Owns the production schedule for high-complexity, high-mix aerospace products, ensuring >95% on time delivery. Collaborates with colleagues to avoid bottlenecks in the manufacturing process and recommends recovery plans for missed milestones. Communicates and identifies achievable ship dates and/or delays in production to Sales and Marketing. Leverages data analytics and continuous improvement methodologies to optimize the production planning process. The ideal candidate will have exceptional problem-solving skills, hands‑on experience using database query tools to extract, analyze and present information through dashboards, and strong communication skills. Additionally, a strong background in Six Sigma methodologies, statistical analysis, and APICS certifications (CSCP or CPIM) would be highly beneficial.
