Job summary

GE Aerospace offers an internship in Supply Chain Operations designed to expose you to materials management, forecasting, planning and sourcing within a fast-paced aerospace environment. You will gain hands-on experience supporting manufacturing and repair processes for component hardware and engine assembly while learning Lean and Six Sigma techniques.

The program requires a 3.0+ GPA, active enrollment in a bachelor or graduate program, and eligibility to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a full-time bachelor or graduate program (accepted majors listed).
• Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Learn state-of-the-art manufacturing methods and support processes for components and engines.
• Assist in materials management, forecasting, planning, logistics and distribution.
• Develop project management, negotiation skills and business acumen on supplier activities.
• Apply Lean and Six Sigma principles to drive productivity and on-time delivery.
