Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a Supply Chain Operations Intern to help invent the future of flight. The internship offers roles across materials management, forecasting, planning, logistics, and sourcing at multiple U.S. sites as part of our OMLP pathway.

You will gain hands-on experience with manufacturing processes, supplier coordination, and project management while applying Lean and Six Sigma to improve productivity and on-time delivery in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3.0 cumulative G.P.A. on a 4.0 scale.
• Attending a full-time registered and nationally accredited bachelor or graduate program.
• Willingness to work in any of the 35+ GE Aerospace U.S. locations.
• Reliable transportation.
• Degrees accepted: Computer Engineering, Business Administration with Operations or Supply Chain focal, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Logistics Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or similar majors.

Responsibilities

• Learn and understand state-of-the-art methods of manufacturing.
• Support manufacturing and repair processes for component hardware and/or engine assembly.
• Maintain high-quality standards via risk assessment, root cause analysis, corrective action, and statistical controls.
• Ensure safe work conditions via EHS initiatives.
• Learn and apply Lean and Six Sigma principles to drive productivity and on-time delivery.
• Support delivery efforts for sourced components by coordinating with shops and suppliers.
