Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
• 3+ years of direct aerospace/defense engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of aerospace manufacturing processes (e.g., CNC machining, composites).
• Hands-on ERP/MRP experience for demand planning and inventory control.
• RCCA, data analysis, and SPC expertise.
• Familiarity with DFARS/ITAR/EAR compliance.
• Willingness to travel 25–30% to supplier sites.
• U.S. Citizen or U.S. Person with ability to obtain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier sourcing, qualification, and onboarding of aerospace suppliers.
• Apply DfM and DFSC principles in product development lifecycle.
• Evaluate supplier capacity, capability, and lead times with KPIs; implement improvements.
• Negotiate cost and lead time to optimize procurement value.
• Manage supplier quality and nonconformance; support AS9100/ISO 9001.
• Travel domestically and internationally for capability audits and issue resolution.
