Platform Aerospace in Hollywood, MD is seeking a Director of Supply Chain to provide strategic leadership across Purchasing, Material Control, Supplier Development, and Logistics for aerospace manufacturing operations.

The ideal candidate will drive supplier performance, manage inventory, and ensure compliance with AS9100, DFARS, ITAR, and EAR while partnering with cross-functional leaders to meet customer requirements and operational goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 10+ years in aerospace supply chain leadership
• Ability to obtain security clearance and manage Purchasing, Material Control, Supplier Development, and Logistics
• Strong knowledge of AS9100 audits, DFARS, ITAR, EAR and related regulatory requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for Purchasing, Material Control, Supplier Development, and Logistics functions
• Drive KPI management, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration
• Ensure AS9100 compliance, company procedures, and customer expectations
• Lead supplier negotiations, long-term agreements, and strategic supplier relationships
• Oversee inventory management, material availability, and working capital metrics
• Coordinate domestic and international logistics with ITAR/EAR/regulatory considerations
