Job summary

GAL AeroStaff Ltd. is seeking an experienced Supplier Development Associate to support supplier performance, quality, capacity, and recovery initiatives. This position works remotely while traveling extensively to supplier and customer locations to assess operations and support improvement efforts.

Approximately 90% travel is expected, with travel expenses reimbursed per company guidelines. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 3–5 years of supplier assessments, audits, or related quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required.
• 3–5 years of experience in supplier assessments, audits, or related quality activities.
• Aerospace, automotive, or similar manufacturing industry experience preferred.
• Familiarity with AS9100, ISO 9001, and related quality standards required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct supplier assessments to evaluate capability, capacity, processes, materials, and constraints.
• Monitor and support supplier improvement plans.
• Develop supplier recovery plans to reduce quality issues.
• Support quality control processes meeting industry and customer requirements.
• Work with suppliers to identify operational improvements and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues.
