Job summary

Parker Hannifin in Kalamazoo, MI, is seeking a Senior Supplier Quality Manager to lead supplier quality and development efforts across the facility, ensuring compliance with ISO9000, FAA and NADCAP requirements. This on-site role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking and hands-on problem solving to drive supplier performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in supplier quality, preferably aerospace or regulated manufacturing.
• Proven leadership experience managing high-performance teams.
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Facilitation and coaching skills.
• Knowledge of ISO procedures and Total Quality concepts.
• Experience with statistical methods and corrective action development.
• Managerial experience with ability to lead and motivate staff.
• Limited travel required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor supplier quality engineers, leaders, and specialists.
• Disposition and implement corrective action for non-conformance.
• Drive supplier improvement initiatives.
• Dotted line responsibilities through supply chain to support deliveries.
• Provide direction and technical support for critical supplier delivery issues.
• Manage quality systems and compliance.
• Define quality requirements at all levels for effective planning.
• Coordinate TQM efforts across business units.
• Develop and maintain QA for purchased material and audits.
• Utilize automated systems to plan and track quality processes.
• Maintain high levels of customer service, throughput, and productivity.
