Job summary

Sierra Space is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer II to ensure suppliers meet quality standards for our space products. You will develop QA processes, conduct supplier audits, and drive continuous improvement with RCCA activities. Experience with AS9100/ISO9001 and data analysis is preferred.

You will support incoming inspection, maintain supplier quality metrics, and collaborate across teams to resolve issues and prevent recurrence. This role offers growth in a dynamic aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of related experience in quality engineering.
• Experience with IPDP/PLM and lean processes.
• Experience enforcing processes and RCCA workflows.
• Familiarity with audits and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Ensure suppliers meet quality standards for products.
• Develop and implement supplier quality assurance processes.
• Conduct supplier audits and assessments for AS9100/ISO9001 compliance.
• Support inspection/testing of incoming materials and prepare quality reports.
• Participate in RCCA activities to resolve issues effectively.
