Job summary

Patriot Machine, Inc. in St. Charles, MO is hiring a Supplier Manager to oversee outside processing suppliers and keep production on schedule.

You will manage PO status, communicate supplier updates, and escalate issues as needed to internal teams. The role requires strong organization, follow-up, and clear communication. The ideal candidate has 5 years in aerospace supplier management or related fields and is proficient with ERP/MRP systems.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in aerospace supplier management, production control, expediting, supply chain, or manufacturing operations.
• Experience in CNC machining, aerospace, precision manufacturing, or job-shop environments preferred.
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills and excellent written/verbal communication.
• U.S. Person status required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the key contact between Patriot Machine and outside processing suppliers.
• Track and maintain the status of all outside processing purchase orders.
• Regularly communicate with outside processors about job status, dates, and shipments.
• Conduct weekly supplier follow-up via phone and email.
• Monitor purchase orders daily for changes, delays, and risks.
• Escalate issues to internal teams as needed and maintain high-priority project tracking.
• Establish expectations on schedules, quality, and delivery commitments.
• Proactively work with suppliers to resolve issues.
