Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience as a manufacturing engineer.
• Knowledge of GD&T is preferred.
• Experience as a Toolmaker or CNC Machinist.
• Creative and critical thinker.
• Knowledgeable in metal cutting mechanics.
• Experience with vibration and chatter analysis.
• Experience in machining process modeling.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize CNC machining options for complex aircraft parts.
• Develop machining sequence plans and fixture concepts for aluminum, titanium and stainless steel parts.
• Research and develop manufacturing processes, including production flow and equipment.
• Coordinate the manufacturing launch of new or revised products.
• Work on and lead several large projects from start to finish.
