• Strong organizational and follow-up skills and excellent written/verbal communication.
• U.S. Person status required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the key contact between Patriot Machine and outside processing suppliers.
• Track and maintain the status of all outside processing purchase orders.
• Regularly communicate with outside processors about job status, dates, and shipments.
• Conduct weekly supplier follow-up via phone and email.
• Monitor purchase orders daily for changes, delays, and risks.
• Escalate issues to internal teams as needed and maintain high-priority project tracking.
• Establish expectations on schedules, quality, and delivery commitments.
• Proactively work with suppliers to resolve issues.

We are a growing aerospace CNC machine shop seeking a Supplier Manager to oversee and coordinate our outside processing suppliers. This position is critical to maintaining production schedules, ensuring outside processing purchase orders stay on track, and proactively communicating supplier status to our internal team.

The ideal candidate is an organized, persistent, and highly communicative professional who is comfortable managing multiple priorities, following up with suppliers, identifying potential schedule issues before they become problems, and building strong working relationships with outside processors.

This is a hands-on position where attention to detail, urgency, and follow-through are essential.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the key point of contact between Patriot Machine and outside processing suppliers
• Track and maintain the status of all outside processing purchase orders
• Communicate regularly with outside processors to obtain current job status, expected completion dates, and shipment information
• Conduct weekly supplier follow-up through phone calls and email
• Monitor purchase orders daily for changes, updates, delays, and potential schedule risks
• Identify and upscale purchase orders, date slips, and supplier concerns to the appropriate internal team members
• Maintain a secondary tracking system for high-priority and higher-focus projects
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with outside processing suppliers
• Establish expectations regarding schedules, quality, and delivery commitments
• Work proactively with suppliers to resolve issues

Requirements:

• 5 years of experience in aerospace supplier management, production control, expediting, supply chain, or manufacturing operations
• Experience in a CNC machining, aerospace, precision manufacturing, or job-shop environment is highly desirable
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience working with ERP/MRP systems is a plus
