Job summary

SSi People in Kent, WA is seeking a Subcontract Administrator to manage cradle-to-grave procurement in a fast-paced supply chain. You will source, quote, negotiate, place, and close out POs and subcontracts, ensuring materials arrive on time and to spec.

Prospective candidates should have a bachelor’s in a related field, 5+ years in subcontract procurement, and aerospace industry experience, with strong cross-functional collaboration and supplier management capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in subcontract administration, procurement, or purchasing.
• Aerospace industry experience is required.
• Experience driving supplier deliverables to closure and cradle-to-grave procurement.

Responsibilities

• Manage cradle-to-grave procurement activities including sourcing, quoting, negotiating, placing, and closing out purchase orders and subcontracts.
• Support new product integration and introduce new components and suppliers into the supply base.
• Track open orders, supplier commitments, and delivery schedules; follow up to prevent shortages and reduce risk.
• Collaborate with integrated product teams; manage supplier relationships and support escalation and continuous improvement.
