Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in subcontract administration, procurement, or purchasing.
• Aerospace industry experience is required.
• Experience driving supplier deliverables to closure and cradle-to-grave procurement.

Responsibilities

• Manage cradle-to-grave procurement activities including sourcing, quoting, negotiating, placing, and closing out purchase orders and subcontracts.
• Support new product integration and introduce new components and suppliers into the supply base.
• Track open orders, supplier commitments, and delivery schedules; follow up to prevent shortages and reduce risk.
• Collaborate with integrated product teams; manage supplier relationships and support escalation and continuous improvement.

We are supporting a contract opportunity for a skilled procurement professional to manage cradle-to-grave purchasing activity within a fast-paced supply chain environment. This position plays a key part in sourcing, tracking, and closing out orders while working closely with cross-functional teams to help ensure materials, components, and services arrive on time and to specification.

Responsibilities

• Manage cradle-to-grave procurement activities, including sourcing, quoting, negotiating, placing, and closing out purchase orders and subcontracts.
• Support new product integration efforts within supply chain management and help introduce new components and suppliers into the supply base.
• Track open orders, supplier commitments, and delivery schedules, and follow up proactively to help prevent shortages and reduce risk.
• Collaborate with integrated product teams, manage supplier relationships, and support escalation, corrective action, and continuous improvement efforts.

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in subcontract administration, procurement, or purchasing.
• Aerospace industry experience is required.
• Demonstrated experience managing cradle-to-grave procurement and driving supplier deliverables to closure.
• Experience working within cross-functional teams in an integrated product team environment.
