Job summary

Global Technical Talent is seeking a Subcontract Administrator III for our client in the aerospace sector. This contract role supports New Product Integration in the SCM team, owning cradle-to-grave procurement and embedding with IPTs to ensure timely, compliant delivery of hardware, components, and services.

Qualifications

• 5 years of progressive experience in subcontract administration, procurement, or purchasing.
• Aerospace industry experience is required.
• Demonstrated experience managing cradle-to-grave procurement.
• Proven ability to follow up, track, and drive supplier deliverables to closure.
• Experience working within cross-functional teams (IPT environment).

Responsibilities

• Manage cradle-to-grave procurement activities, including sourcing, quoting, negotiating, placing, and closing out purchase orders and subcontracts.
• Support New Product Integration (NPI) within SCM, ensuring new components and suppliers are introduced into the supply base.
• Execute purchasing activities for hardware, components, materials, and services.
• Proactively follow up and track open orders, supplier commitments, and delivery schedules to mitigate risk and prevent shortages.
• Serve as an embedded member of cross-functional Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), representing SCM.
• Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships, managing performance, escalations, and corrective actions as needed.
• Negotiate terms, conditions, pricing, and delivery to achieve best value while ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reporting throughout the procurement lifecycle.
• Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities within the procurement process.
