Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a skilled assembly technician to build and test components for New Shepard, New Glenn, and engine systems at our Seattle-area facilities. You will join a diverse team dedicated to safe, repeatable spaceflight and contribute to manufacturing and supply chain support across Blue Origin operations.

You will apply technical expertise, leadership, and a commitment to quality, with emphasis on documentation, design feedback, and adherence to aerospace standards.

Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of experience in precision assembly.
  • Ability to read drawings and prints and document work.
  • Experience drilling and preparing close tolerance holes for structural assembly.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble structural, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical sub-assemblies for New Shepard, New Glenn, and engine components.
  • Assemble structural components to aerospace standards.
  • Collaborate with engineers to review concepts and feedback on assembly ease.
  • Follow and edit work instructions for assembly tasks.
  • Plan assembly steps for complex mechanical installations.
  • Work safely with hazardous systems and high-pressure equipment.
  • Collaborate in a team with shifting priorities and strong problem-solving skills.
