Job summary

Blue Origin in Washington state seeks an Assembly & Integration Technician to build, integrate and test aerospace systems from engineering drawings, schematics, and detailed work instructions. You will collaborate with engineering, production and manufacturing teams to assemble subcomponents, configure work areas, and perform operational tests and fault isolation to ensure safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace manufacturing, integration, or related field (3+ years for Level II).
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Hands-on assembly and integration of structural, mechanical, fluid, and avionic systems.
• Proficiency with precision calibration tools (torque wrenches, micrometers, calipers).
• Capable of lifting 50 lbs and working at heights or in confined spaces.
• Experience with adhesives, sealants, and fasteners.
• Basic proficiency with Windows and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and integrate subcomponents and final assemblies per specs.
• Configure production work areas with tooling for efficient workflow.
• Operate precision tools to maintain safety and quality.
• Identify and implement safety, efficiency, and productivity improvements.
• Perform operational tests, troubleshooting, and fault isolation.
• Support transition from development to production and perform preventative maintenance.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas following 5S principles.
