Job summary

Blue Origin in Space Coast, FL is seeking a Structures Technician to fabricate, assemble, and align aerospace components per engineering drawings and specifications. You will work with aluminum, titanium, Inconel, and composites, using precision drills, torque wrenches, calipers, and micrometers to meet tight tolerances.

Qualifications

• Experience with aerospace manufacturing or related field.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience with precision calibration and measurement tools (torque wrenches, micrometers, calipers).
• Able to lift 50 lbs and work at heights or in confined spaces.
• Familiarity with adhesives, sealants, fasteners, and 5S principles.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble, and align aerospace components per engineering instructions.
• Drill precision holes using various drills and maintain tight tolerances.
• Prepare surfaces and apply sealants, paints, and primers.
• Fixture components with jigs and tooling for accurate alignment.
• Operate calibrated measurement tools to ensure quality and safety.
• Inspect assemblies, perform repairs or modifications as needed.
• Support continuous improvement and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and document work.
• Handle and integrate flight and non-flight hardware across production.
