Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to accurately interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience with precision calibration and measurement tools (torque wrenches, micrometers, calipers).
• Familiarity with 5S principles and clean manufacturing environments.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work at heights or in confined spaces.
• Basic computer proficiency (Windows, Microsoft Office).

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble, and align structural aerospace components according to engineering instructions and specifications.
• Drill precision holes with power feed, track, and hand drills; maintain tight tolerances across materials.
• Prepare and treat surfaces for assembly including cleaning, part marking, and sealants/paints.
• Fixture and secure components using jigs and tooling to ensure accurate alignment.
• Operate calibrated tools and measurement devices to maintain safety and quality.
• Inspect assemblies, identify discrepancies, and execute repairs or modifications as required.
• Document work and communicate with engineering and quality teams.
