Job summary

Textron is offering a 2027 Internship in Structural Test in Wichita, KS. This role provides hands-on experience performing structural analysis in support of new design and production activities on fleet and production aircraft.

You will review drawings, use finite element software, and prepare reports for FAA compliance while gaining mentorship and training from experienced professionals. The program runs 10 weeks over late May to early August with onsite participation.

Responsibilities

• Review Engineering Drawings and Data for load path, strength and stiffness.
• Keep detailed Stress Notes on design changes and non-conformances.
• Utilize Finite Element Software to solve structural problems.
• Prepare Structural Reports for FAA compliance findings.
