Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking early-career engineers in mechanical or aerospace fields to contribute to a variety of projects across our business units. You will be matched with an engineering team based on your skills and our current needs, with locations prioritized for proximity to hardware and teams.

Responsibilities include design, analysis, and testing of mechanical systems, propulsion, and structures, plus participation in the full product development lifecycle from requirements to qualification.

Qualifications

• BS in mechanical or aerospace engineering or related field.
• Recent graduates who can start Fall 2026.
• Fundamentals of design, materials, interfaces, and environment.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD (Creo Pro/E preferred).
• Strengths in mechanics of materials and structural analysis.
• Familiarity with Finite Element Analysis (ANSYS preferred).
• Relevant internship or co-op demonstrating technical and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team on fast-paced projects.

Responsibilities

• Engage in design, analysis, and test of mechanical and propulsion systems.
• Participate in the full design cycle from requirements to qualification.
• Assist assembly and test of development and flight hardware.
• Identify design changes to improve reliability and reduce cost.
• Remain adaptable to changing objectives across business units.
