Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, seeks a structural analyst to perform analyses of Landing Systems components with senior guidance. Use classical methods and FEA to develop solutions, document results, and contribute to engineering reviews.

You will collaborate with design, materials, and test engineers, support NPIs, MRBs, and PDAs, and participate in continuous improvement of analytical methods. Hybrid onsite/remote schedule plus growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Requires STEM degree and 2 years of relevant experience or an advanced degree.
• Experience with linear structural analysis and English communication (verbal and written).
• U.S. citizenship is required for access to program information.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analyses of Landing Systems components under guidance of senior engineers.
• Develop analysis solutions using classical methods and/or Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
• Support risk assessments and evaluate static and fatigue failure modes.
• Prepare technical documentation including analysis summaries and reports.
• Collaborate with design, materials, and test engineering to meet requirements.
• Assist in test plans and validating structural performance with data.
