Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, seeks a Systems Engineer II to join our Strategic Defense Solutions team. The role is hybrid, with three days onsite and two remote per schedule.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams on the development of display products, derive system requirements, and support verification and tracing across the lifecycle. U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree and 2 years of experience, or an advanced degree.
• Experience in at least one phase of the systems/software lifecycle process.
• Proficient in English communication; U.S. citizenship required and ability to obtain clearance.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Participate in cross-disciplined, integrated product teams, often using agile methods.
• Collaborate with engineering, program management and other functions to execute projects.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of display products and processes.
• Assist in the development and flow-down of system requirements to align with goals.
• Support requirements decomposition, traceability, and verification across lifecycles.
• Participate in design reviews and technical discussions to ensure quality and compliance.
• Utilize MBSE to analyze and develop system requirements.
• Continuously learn and apply new skills to enhance engineering practices.
