Job summary

Beyond New Horizons is seeking a Structural Dynamics Engineer to support the Test Operations at Arnold Engineering Development Complex in Tennessee. You will conduct structural analysis, recommend materials, and collaborate on design evaluations to ensure safety and performance standards are met.

The role offers competitive salaries ranging from $73,000 to $130,000 annually, plus benefits including 401K matching and continuing education assistance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in structural design and/or stress analysis work.
• Must be able to obtain a Secret level security clearance.
• U.S. Citizenship required for employment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth analysis of structural integrity and performance.
• Model and simulate structural behavior using FEA software.
• Recommend suitable materials for construction based on project requirements.
• Collaborate with design teams to evaluate and refine designs.
• Determine and analyze external loads and their effects on structures.
• Investigate structural failures and recommend repairs or improvements.
• Utilize CAD software for detailed drawings and models.
• Maintain comprehensive records of analyses and project progress.
