Saab in West Lafayette, IN is hiring 3rd shift Structural Assemblers to build the aft fuselage for the T-7A Red Hawk. You will assemble aircraft structure, train new team members, and actively contribute to the production system. The role includes on-site, hands-on work with a focus on quality and safety.

Starting pay is $23–$25 per hour with a $2 premium for 3rd shift, plus comprehensive benefits. Candidates need 2+ years of assembly or hand tool experience and the ability to read engineering

Qualificações

• 2+ years of relevant assembly experience with hand tools.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Ability to safely use appropriate hand and power tools.
• Capable of standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks.
• Willingness to work extended hours and weekends as required.

Responsabilidades

• Assemble aircraft structure and systems per standardized procedures.
• Train new team members and transfer knowledge to others.
• Work in a team-based environment focusing on safety, quality, and productivity.
• Complete functional testing of assemblies and systems.
• Sign off completion according to specifications.
• Support continuous improvement in safety, quality, cost, delivery, and morale.
