Links Technology Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer specializing in Structural Analysis in Hagerstown, MD.

This onsite contract role involves evaluating and certifying advanced aerospace structures, performing FEA, fatigue and damage tolerance analyses, and supporting product development through detailed documentation. The ideal candidate will have a 6+ year track record in structural analysis, experience with CAE tools, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/aerospace/civil engineering or related field.
6+ years of relevant engineering experience in structural analysis.
Experience with static/dynamic structural analyses and CAE tools.
Knowledge of FEA software (MSC Patran/Nastran/FEMAP/ANSYS) preferred.
Ability to prepare technical documentation and reports.

Responsibilities

Design, evaluate, analyze, and certify complex metallic and composite structures.
Perform static and/or dynamic structural analyses for aerospace/defense applications.
Support product lifecycle from design to certification and documentation.
Use CAE tools for structural design, simulation, and analysis.
Conduct FEA and fatigue/damage tolerance assessments.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on design, testing, and certification.
Ensure designs meet standards and certification criteria.
