Job summary

Infosys Nova Holdings LLC in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Stress Engineer to develop technically superior solutions for aerospace projects with increased accountability and leadership onsite.

You will perform static, fatigue, and dynamic stress analyses on aero structures using FEA tools such as Nastran, Patran, and FEMAP, engaging with clients and suppliers to lay out execution approaches and ensure customer requirements are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience in Aerospace Industry as a Stress Engineer.
• Experience with static, fatigue, and damage tolerance calculations.
• Proficient with Finite Element Analysis tools (Nastran, Patran, FEMAP).
• Knowledge of aerospace industry standards and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform static, fatigue and dynamic stress analysis for aero structures.
• Use hand calculations for primary and secondary structures.
• Work with metallic and composite structures.
• Prepare and review engineering stress reports and deliverables.
• Interact with clients and suppliers to define scope of work and execution approach.
