Job summary

Beacon Hill is seeking a Structural Analysis Engineer to support analysis and development of aerospace hardware. The role focuses on structural and stress analysis using FEA to evaluate components under various loading conditions.

The engineer will work with internal load outputs from larger FE models, refine structural models, assess stresses and margins of safety, and deliver results to guide design decisions in close collaboration with design teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related Engineering field.
• Experience with structural/stress analysis and FEA.
• Experience with FEMAP and Nastran.
• Ability to analyze internal loads, stresses, margins of safety, and structural performance.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural and stress analysis using finite element analysis (FEA).
• Develop and refine detailed structural models.
• Evaluate stresses and margins of safety to ensure hardware meets requirements.
• Provide analysis results to drive design decisions and support engineering teams.
