Job summary

HCLTech is seeking a Stress Engineer to join our team and advance aerospace structural analysis capabilities. The candidate will perform static and fatigue analyses on composite and metallic aerospace components and contribute to in-service repair assessments.

The role requires hands-on experience with FEM tools (NASTRAN/ Patran), strong engineering judgment, and the ability to work independently to deliver timely repairs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
  • Static/ Fatigue analysis on aerospace structural components; stress analysis required.
  • 3–5 years of aerostructure analysis with hand calculations; nacelle repair analysis preferred.
  • FEM experience (NASTRAN/ Patran) preferred.
  • Ability to make quick engineering judgments to expedite repairs.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
  • Skills: Aerostructure stress analysis, nacelle stress analysis, in-service repair analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Perform static and fatigue analysis on aerospace structural components.
  • Conduct nacelle stress analysis and repair analysis.
  • Utilize FEM tools (NASTRAN/Patran) for simulations.
  • Provide quick engineering judgments to enable fast repairs.
  • Work independently or with minimal guidance.
