Job summary

Beacon Hill is seeking a Structural Analysis Engineer to support analysis and development of aerospace hardware. The role focuses on structural and stress analysis using FEA to evaluate components under various loading conditions.

The engineer will work with internal load outputs from larger FE models, refine structural models, assess stresses and margins of safety, and deliver results to guide design decisions in close collaboration with design teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related Engineering field.
• Experience with structural/stress analysis and FEA.
• Experience with FEMAP and Nastran.
• Ability to analyze internal loads, stresses, margins of safety, and structural performance.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural and stress analysis using finite element analysis (FEA).

Job description

Seeking a Structural Analysis Engineer to support the analysis and development of complex aerospace hardware. This individual will perform structural and stress analysis using finite element analysis (FEA) to evaluate components and assemblies under various loading conditions.

The engineer will work with internal load outputs from larger/global finite element models, develop and refine detailed structural models, evaluate stresses and margins of safety, and provide analysis results that help drive design decisions. This role will work closely with design and engineering teams to identify structural concerns, recommend improvements, and ensure hardware meets performance and structural requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related Engineering field
• Experience with structural/stress analysis and FEA
• Experience with FEMAP and Nastran
• Ability to analyze internal loads, stresses, margins of safety, and structural performanceExperience working with aerospace, spacecraft, launch vehicle, or propulsion hardware preferred
• Strong understanding of structural mechanics and engineering fundamentals
