Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Spares Engineer/Engineering Analyst to join the Spares Provisioning team onsite at our Chula Vista, CA facility. You will determine, analyze, and optimize spare parts to support lifecycle requirements, collaborating with engineering, supply chain, reliability, and sustainment teams to ensure cost-effective provisioning aligned with maintenance plans.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree with 5+ years of experience or an advanced degree with 3+ years of experience.
• U.S. Person is required due to ITAR/EAR information handling requirements.
• Project management or project planning experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, analyze, and maintain RSPLs and provisioning data for products.
• Interpret BOMs and maintenance plans to determine spares requirements.
• Identify critical components and create provisioning documentation (IPCs, IPLs, S-files, T-files).
• Provide technical support to customers and internal teams.
• Support proposal development with spares estimates, cost modeling, and logistics input.
• Travel up to 10%.
