Job summary

RTX is hiring a Spares Engineer/Engineering Analyst for the Chula Vista, CA facility. You will determine, analyze, and optimize spare parts provisioning to support lifecycle needs across complex systems.

Close collaboration with engineering, supply chain, reliability, and sustainment teams is required. Role involves interpreting drawings and BOMs, identifying critical components, and producing provisioning documentation.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree and minimum 5 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with 3+ years.
• U.S. Person – access to ITAR/EAR information or hardware is required.
• Experience in project management or project planning.

Responsibilities

• Develop, analyze, and maintain RSPLs and provisioning data for products.
• Interpret BOMs, drawings, and maintenance plans to determine spares needs.
• Identify critical components and create provisioning documentation (IPCs, IPLs, S-files, T-files).
• Provide technical support to customers and internal teams.
• Support proposals with spares estimates, cost modeling, and logistics input.
• Travel up to 10%.
