Job summary

RTX is seeking a Life Cycle Systems Engineer I to provide cross-functional, end-to-end support for multiple RTX product lines across the lifecycle. You will engage with RAM, ILS, and logistics teams to optimize performance, readiness, and sustainment from concept through disposal.

In this entry-level role, you will contribute to system provisioning, spare parts analysis, and maintenance scheduling while ensuring affordability and mission readiness. Collaboration across departments is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM or related field by start date.
• Experience with engineering principles, analytical troubleshooting methodologies, and root-cause or failure analysis concepts.
• Coursework related to relational databases or matrix databases.
• Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Responsibilities

• Support senior engineers in planning and conducting fundamental analyses, studies, and investigations.
• Develop, review, and organize technical data elements, which may include system provisioning lists, spares recommendations, failure trends, logistics product data, technical manuals, and training materials, ensuring adherence to industry and military standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to track hardware components through factory production or repair pipelines and help analyze spare parts requirements to ensure continuous operational readiness.
• Assist in compiling, verifying, and entering engineering design change information into life cycle management databases to ensure accurate tracking of configurations and logistics impacts.
• Support the development and implementation of both internal or commercial data tracking, reporting, and monitoring tools.
