Job summary

RTX is offering an onsite internship/co-op opportunity in El Segundo, CA, focused on real-time embedded software development. You will work with a team to apply engineering principles, analyze problems, and contribute across lifecycle phases. A U.S. citizenship security clearance is required.

You will gain hands-on experience in C/C++, Python, and Ada, with exposure to radar and embedded systems in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in an applicable discipline and actively enrolled through completion of the internship / co‑op session.
• Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship / co‑op session.
• Developing software utilizing C/C++, Python, Ada or related tools/languages.
• Knowledge of real time embedded software development.
• Solid academic & technical background in computer science / software engineering.
• This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Except in rare circumstances, only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
