Innoflight in San Diego is seeking an experienced Software Integration & Test Engineering Manager to lead a multidisciplinary team responsible for integrating, validating, and automating the testing of advanced aerospace products from concept through production.

You will coordinate across Software, Hardware, FPGA, Mechanical, RF, PCB, Systems Engineering, and Program Management to verify requirements and drive innovation in test solutions, while building a culture of quality and continuous

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• 7+ years of software integration and/or test engineering experience.
• Experience leading or managing engineering teams.
• Working knowledge of software integration and test principles, processes, and verification methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Software Integration & Test Team: recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing engineering team and foster a collaborative culture.
• Direct Integration & Test Programs: oversee software integration and automated test activities across development programs from development to production.
• Drive Test Automation Strategy: plan and implement automated test initiatives using Python and modern methodologies.
• Collaborate Across Engineering: coordinate with Software, Hardware, FPGA, Mechanical, RF, PCB, Systems Engineering, and Program Management teams.
• Define Test Requirements: develop comprehensive test strategies, procedures, and verification data.
• Ensure Quality & Documentation: review engineering docs, test procedures, and results to maintain traceability.
• Drive Operational Excellence: identify and implement improvements in processes and team productivity.
• Manage Program Risks: identify risks and mitigation plans to keep programs on track.
• Coordinate Internal & External Stakeholders: communicate with suppliers, customers, and leadership to meet expectations.
• Leverage Data for Continuous Improvement: analyze metrics to improve productivity and reduce costs.
