Job summary

Innoflight in San Diego, CA, seeks a Hardware Integration & Test Engineer II to design, develop, and enhance testing capabilities for aerospace products. You will work hands-on with complex systems and collaborate across hardware, software, and manufacturing teams to ensure reliability and quality.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in a related field and 3+ years of experience, with experience in test equipment and documentation. U.S. security clearance is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 3+ years in a similar role.
• Experience with test equipment and hardware troubleshooting.
• Ability to document issues and present findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Design testing strategies and write test procedures for development and manufacturing.
• Create custom testing fixtures, cables, and test boards with the Hardware team.
• Analyze failures and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
• Improve test readability and reliability with operations teams.
• Integrate and test products with hardware/software teams to find root causes.
• Provide accurate estimates for testing features and procedures.
