Job summary

Intuitive Machines is seeking an experienced Software Quality and Test Lead to drive quality assurance and verification strategies for flight-critical software systems. This role combines technical leadership, process ownership, and hands-on testing to ensure safety, reliability, and compliance.

You will mentor test engineers, manage V&V activities, and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced aerospace environment, with bi-weekly sprint planning and cross-project resource

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software/Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in aerospace software quality/test with 2+ years in a lead role.
• Proven track record testing embedded/real-time/flight software systems.
• Strong knowledge of software V&V methodologies and test automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead software quality assurance and test strategy across flight software, ground systems, and simulations.
• Conduct performance reviews and guide team members on career goals.
• Establish and enforce software quality processes aligned with aerospace standards.
• Manage requirements traceability, verification and validation activities.
