Job summary

The Boeing Company in Saint Charles, Missouri seeks a Software Engineering Manager to lead the Support Equipment team. This onsite role focuses on directing software engineering across multiple integrated product teams to enable loading, testing, measurement, control, automation, and inspection of complex avionics and armament systems.

You will partner with customers, system engineers and suppliers to ensure delivery excellence, foster talent growth, and advance software engineering practices

Qualifications

Bachelor Degree required and U.S. Citizenship for clearance.
5+ years of experience in software development lifecycle, configuration management and agile practices.
At least one year in a leadership role or equivalent Boeing leadership exposure.

Responsibilities

Manages employees performing software engineering and technical activities across the program lifecycle.
Develops and executes project and process plans, policies, and operational goals.
Acquires resources, manages suppliers, and leads process improvements.
Develops and maintains relationships with customers, stakeholders and teams.
Oversees technical approaches, products and processes for delivery.
Manages, develops and motivates employees.
