Job summary
Collins Aerospace in Sterling, VA is seeking a Software Intern to join our software development team onsite. You will work with a high-performance team to support development of Aircraft Simulation Models for a Mission Crew Training Device, contributing to NC3 Mission-System Integration and Crew Training initiatives.
You will collaborate with Software Engineers, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, Software Architects, and other teams to drive software maturity, producing high-quality Mission
Qualifications
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in STEM and enrolled through the internship/co-op session.
- Strong foundation in C++ programming language.
- Experience with the Python programming language.
Responsibilities
- Team up with a high-performance software team to support development of Aircraft Simulation Models for a Mission Crew Training Device.
- Collaborate with fellow Software Engineers, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, Software Architects, and other teams to drive software product maturity.
- Produce high-quality Mission Simulation software, validation tests, and documentation.
- Participate in peer reviews for software engineering artifacts.
