Job summary

RTX is seeking a student with a strong foundation in C programming to contribute to the full life-cycle development of electric power distribution systems. You will work in a team environment, engaging in requirements, design, verification and certification tasks to meet aerospace standards under DO-178B/C guidance.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a Bachelor's or Advanced degree in STEM and have completed at least 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship/co-op.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor's or Advanced degree in STEM actively enrolled through the internship/co-op session.
• Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship/co-op session.
• Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Responsibilities

• Work in a team environment on full life-cycle development of electric power distribution systems in C.
• Certify/qualify software to aerospace standards (DO-178B/C).
• Engage in design, verification and certification activities.
