Job summary

RTX is seeking a Software Engineer II for an onsite role in Indianapolis. You will work with avionics and mission-critical software across the development lifecycle, collaborating with Systems and Software Engineers. A Master’s in STEM or equivalent experience is required, with strong C/C++/C# and Java skills and experience in Windows environments.

DoD security clearance is required. Citizenship is required for clearance; relocation is eligible, and a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in STEM or 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Developing and testing software in Windows environments.
• Experience with C, C++, C#, Java or closely related languages.

Responsibilities

• Use and provide creative solutions to complex software integration problems.
• Work with other engineers to design solutions focused on end user and operational needs.
• Support all phases of the software development life cycle in multi-disciplined teams.
• Contribute to concept, requirements, design, development, integration, and test.
• Maintain eligibility to obtain a DoD security clearance.
