Job summary

ACMT INC is looking for a Shipping Operations professional to handle packaging, labeling, and export documentation in a manufacturing environment in Manchester, CT.

You will work with ERP systems to record shipments, coordinate with carriers, and ensure compliance with ITAR and EAR. The role demands safe operation of warehouse equipment and collaboration with Quality, Production, and Program Management to meet delivery dates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of shipping/receiving experience in manufacturing or aerospace.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and package outgoing parts per customer and aerospace packaging standards.
• Create and verify shipping labels, bills of lading, and export documentation using ERP and shipping systems.
• Coordinate with carriers or pickups and monitor shipment statuses.
• Ensure shipments include documents such as certificates of conformance, packing slips, and export paperwork.
• Follow ITAR, EAR, and AS9100 protocols for documentation and secure handling of controlled items.
• Record shipments in ERP and track inventory movement; assist with counts and restocking.
• Work with Quality, Production, and Program Management to meet ship dates and resolve discrepancies.
• Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment; maintain a safe shipping area.
