Job summary

RTX in Grand Prairie, TX is seeking a material handler to perform a variety of processing tasks, manage inventory, and transport materials safely. You will use SAP for inventory control, operate forklifts, and ensure accurate documentation while supporting aircraft components and tooling movements.

The role requires a HS diploma/GED with 4 years of relevant experience, and offers a comprehensive benefits package and an onsite work arrangement.

Qualifications

HS diploma (or equivalent) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
Experience in material inventory and movement systems, stocking/tracking/cycle counts preferred.
Knowledge of SAP and forklift operations is beneficial.

Responsibilities

Perform a wide variety of material processing tasks within an assigned area.
Query computer systems to retrieve information, adjust inventories and record transactions.
Receive, store, issue and transport materials such as aircraft components, tooling and gauges.
Ensure all documentation is accurate and entered electronically.
Operate packing and labeling equipment and follow approved packing methods to prevent damage.
Provide inside and outside material transportation services and secure loads for transit.
Operate forklifts or hoists to load or remove boxes and distribute materials from various sources.
May train to obtain licenses and certifications within the area.
