Job summary

HSGI, Inc. is seeking a Sheetmetal Technician II to safely layout, fabricate, and install aircraft parts in a fast-paced aerospace environment. You will follow established procedures and quality standards to meet customer expectations.

Qualifications

• Strong corporate aircraft experience required.
• Sheet metal and/or fabrication experience required.
• Knowledge of sheet metal or fabrication processes (forming, drilling, stamping, shaping, bending, punching, cutting, riveting, filing, and dimpling).
• Experience in the aerospace industry required.
• Must be able to pass a 10-year federal background check to obtain an airport security badge.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform sheet-metal layout, fabrication, and installation on aircraft under general supervision.
• Coordinate with supervision and Inspection to ensure FAA paperwork, sign-offs, and quality specifications are met.
• Use schematics/blueprints, engineering drawings, and instructions to perform sheet metal layout, fabrication, and installation.
• Safely operate shop equipment such as brakes, presses, riveting equipment, shears, and hand tools.
