Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a skilled sheet metal technician to fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal components that meet engineering specifications and safety standards. You will read blueprints, measure and shape metal, and perform rigorous quality checks on finished parts.

The role emphasizes safe operation of sheet metal tools and collaboration with engineering and production teams to continuously improve processes.

Qualifications

Proven experience in sheet metal fabrication, including cutting, bending, and assembling metal components.
Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications related to sheet metal work.
Knowledge of quality control procedures and inspection techniques to ensure product compliance.

Responsibilities

Fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal parts and products using hand tools, power tools, and machinery.
Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to accurately measure, cut, bend, and shape sheet metal.
Perform quality inspections on finished products to ensure compliance with standards and customer requirements.
Maintain and operate sheet metal equipment safely and efficiently, performing routine maintenance as needed.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve fabrication issues and improve manufacturing processes.
